"Ye hai Youngistan meri jaan"

I love u all(conditions applied – only those who read my blogs and leave a comment dere…)))…sorry for being too late …bt I had nothing to say that’s why I dint write anything….and finally I m writing …but strangely I don’t have anything to share even today…anyways just a little information (nothing like breaking news ) I had gone my home town after almost three years …for 10 days…and no I am in no mood to say dat I was overwhelmed there…or had a great time …coz I dint had…blame it to the temperature (not the Sean Paul)…ooops…bad joke…

Over there I had nothing actually to do….(well I m not to be blamed for that.. everybody was treating me like a guest so I became one)…but yes I enjoyed their hospitality…Therefore I was left with a lot of time to be own my own..(with Preity being busy cooking some dangerous items..(crispy chilly potatoes with Honey…doesn’t it sound like some horror or probably an action movie...??...) …well it is another topic worth getting a space in my blog…. not today…but I promise that I will tell you about Miss Preity Sanjeev Kapoor Mishra’s spicy adventures…since I had nothing better to do so I was just noticing people around ….especially people my age …but I am not very happy with what I noticed….of course they have been brought up in a conservative environment and therefore are not as frank as their counterparts in Metros…but what is saddening is that instead of being brought up in a joint family set up they are not having affection for their cousins and extended family ….and relationships have now become more like shackles than a bond which they are desperate to break…and want to go and breath in almost an illusionary world of pseudo freedom and false westernization…. …Our generation is the one who has witnessed the transaction of mass media along with the interesting journey of TV from the Dordarshan to the satellite era…we watched mogli and sindbaad as toddlers and yes we are having our share of Roadies , splits villa & kick-ass morning in our adolescence ….Luckily Ramayana and Mahabharta was the part of our childhood because we have grown listening to the larger than life still fascinating stories of Ram and Krishna from our grand mom’s and were not exposed to silly cartoon network and violent video games…(not for initial 5-6 years at least…)…and that’s why we value relationship...and grand parents are not just any silly chaps for us….and I think that it is the soul of Indian society but slowly and slowly this soul has lost its way in the this maddening crowd…no I am not against westernization…and I think that we cant afford to be indifferent to it…but we should not over do it…losing our own identity …
I think that Todays youth… take pride in doing something different ...no matter how disgusted or outrageous that may be…I remember a guy in my college attending classes in his trunks…he may be thinking that he was being cool…but for me he was just a lunatic lacking basic dressing senses which is taught in Primary School…

We all loved Rang De Basanti...but I feel that still the movie couldnt serve its purpose as youth imitated the COOL DJ of pre-interval …the DJ da Promise and DJ’s gang…but what about its true message ..DJ AFTER THE INTERVAL…..THE TRUE INDIAN..why none of us get inspired by that????...

It makes me feel ridiculous that today the criteria of being cool and modern is discussing openly about Homosexuality or pornography….again ..i am not discouraging these discussions….but then is it the only criteria ????...
It is a matter of great concern that today’s youth is trying to do away with their responsibilities….with the stupid slogals of “ye hai Youngistan meri jaan “… we have to realize that just by sounding cool…and acting all fool… will not serve the purpose…

shwotu.....believe me i have always admired ur view about issues pertaining our value systems, understnding mum n dad..their anxieties about us and our attitude towards thm....n..in my lifetime..i could hardly figure out sombody with great intactness towards her foundation and yet modern..u reflect a part of Gen Y..n i took pride in concluding tht Gen y is capable of keeping their root system still fresh..

n u knw tht the best part of u is tht u dont only opine or write about it but follow it as well..n tht's more significant

never change ur wayz...lov u..tk

RAKESH..
i knw its not a right place to say hi...

but HI... :-)
